Boy, the Labour Day long weekend really snuck up on me. I haven’t made any plans at all.

Well, that’s not true. I’m going to see Patricia O’Callaghan again tonight. I’ve seen her perform at the Rivoli a couple of times, but never at a theatre-type venue. (Well, there was that gig at Massey Hall, but that doesn’t count.)

I think it’s hilarious that the Democratic Representative Caucus, the group of “dissident” Canadian Alliance MPs, is routinely being called the Rebel Alliance on CBC Radio News.

I wonder if they’ll adopt the Rebels’ logo? It’s certainly a lot cooler than that awful, swooshy CA logo.

There was a lot of hype about Code Red earlier this week. And, I’ll admit I was part of that.

Here’s a good comment on the media’s coverage of Code Red. Oddly enough, Time.com is owned by the same company as the chief hype monkey.
