Tuesday, June 18th, 2002Looks like it’ll be another quiet night in my neighbourhood. South Korea 2 - Italy 1.
I had pretty much written off Korea’s chances when I left for work this morning. When I got into work, though, everyone was gathered around the TV, watching a sea of Red Devils celebrating their team’s overtime victory.
Maybe I’ll put up my South Korean flag again. They play Spain next and, if they win that, the winner of U.S. and Germany. I could see Korea in the final.
But then, what the hell do I know?
