The CBC launched a new Web site today: CBC Archives.

This is quite a piece of Web work. Canada’s recent history told through archival audio and video.

And not just politicians and hockey players, either.

Check out this montage of prospective Canadian flag designs. I’ve been looking for something like this for years.

I was pleased to find a page on Africville and surprised to see one on the punk scene in Canada.

I tried to get a job on this project, but I don’t think I was very well prepared for the interview.

I’m glad to see they put out a good site without me.

Hmmm… Maybe getting out of town would be the best way to deal with this outside workers strike.

I certainly wouldn’t want to walk through Chinatown in the next few days. *scary*
