A couple of things on

A couple of things on the news making me laugh this morning.

One was the Newsworld anchor throwing around the word “dyke” like was no big deal. “Dyke march, dyke parade, dyke, dyke, dyke.”

The other was the CNN anchor announcing the start of Operation: Desert SideWINDer. (Rhymes with cinder.)

The cable company picked yesterday

The cable company picked yesterday to clue in and remove the extended cable channels from my line-up. I’m now down to *gasp* basic cable.

I decided to remove to extra channels after I realized the only one I watch regularly is Space, and it’s just not worth the cost of all those other stations.

It reminds me of a whiny little editorial I wrote for the Journal back in 1998.
