Olympics from a different point of view

A couple of interesting blogs on the Olympics:

DFL covers the Olympics from the opposite end, focusing on the athletes who finish last in each event. Excellent tagline: “Because they’re there, and you’re not.”

It even has a last-place “medal count” so you can see who places first in winter Olympic futility. (Mouseover the title to see what it stands for.)

And Jim Courtney writes about using a Slingbox, a piece of hardware that attaches to your TV to narrowcast its signal to any computer on the internet, to watch CBC’s Olympic coverage from L.A.

You can only watch the signal from your Slingbox from one computer at a time, so this isn’t iCraveTV all over again.
