I won’t say explicitly that Sean Monkman of CBC Arts Online is a huge nerd.
All I know is that I’ve been kicking ass in the quizzes lately: Superman, Superheroines, Cartoon voice actors.

I somehow scored 10/10 on the Johnny Depp quiz despite never having seen a Johnny Depp film all the way through.

Yeah, you can guess at some of the answers. The writers get cheeky sometimes.

Glad to see some people having success. I am used to reports from mates in the 7/10 range.
I’d hate to make the quizzes a total challenge and feel that most people would do poorly (especially on a Friday when they typically go up).
usually in the 10 questions there are a handful of dead gimmies and a couple of “tougher” ones but many of the questions will include an answer or two that are obviously wrong to help improve the chances for a good guess.
not that there is a science to it.
and I’d also say that the internet levels the nerd playing field (particularly when it comes to writing a quiz about a topic beyond my ken). I’m certainly less nerdy in real life.

9/10 on the MTV quiz! Gotta love Sledgehammer. *sigh* Pixar has killed stop-motion animation.
