Seeing conspiracies where there’s only syndication
I know I should probably just ignore this, but the ultra-conservative, CBC-can-do-no-right bloggers are just so stupid sometimes.
Joel over at Proud to be Canadian (but wish I were American) is calling out the CBC for writing this story:
Harper invites media to holiday reception - on a date that doesn’t exist
He even quotes the story:
OTTAWA (CP) - The prime minister’s tumultuous relationship with the national media is taking on a comic twist this holiday season.
Stephen Harper is inviting members of the parliamentary press gallery to a yuletide reception at his official residence on Monday, Dec. 19. One problem: there is no Monday, Dec. 19 this year.
Except CBC.ca didn’t write the story. That’s right. He’s railing against the “state-run news media” for running a Canadian Press story. In the Oddities section.
For the record, here are the CBC’s allies in the battle against the vast right-wing conspiracy:
TheStar.com
Canada.com
Macleans.ca
Canoe.ca
Brandon Sun Online
THE NEW 940 MONTREAL
570news.com
CJAD
News1130
Keep up the struggle, comrades.
And, yes, Joel, this is an employee of the “BILLION-dollar per year taxpayer-funded state-run news media, the CBC division of the liberal-left” mocking you, but I do so on my own time. My opinions are not those of the corp, etc. etc.
