Ezra, stick to… whatever it is that you do. UPDATED
Tuesday, January 9th, 2007Ezra Levant wrote a column in the Calgary Sun today: Stick to reporting. In it, he accuses someone of affixing a bumper sticker to his SUV with the slogan, “I made a fortune in oil, but I spent it all on gas.” The sticker also featured, he claimed, a CBC Radio One logo.
As evidence, he put a scan of the sticker on his blog at the Western Standard.
Now, look at that image.
He claims it’s a scan of a sticker he removed from his SUV. Without a tear, a wrinkle or even a moire pattern to suggest that it was ever printed on paper.
For some reason, I doubt his story.
UPDATE: It looks like the story is true. There’s a response from the CBC regional director in the Sun’s letters this morning.
